Privacy, plainly.
This page covers edtok.io, our marketing site. It's short because we collect almost nothing.
What we collect
- An email address — only if you give us one. Submitting the "Request invite" form sends your email to our signup service so we can tell you when the beta opens.
- A theme preference. If you use the light/dark toggle, your choice is stored in your own browser (localStorage). It never leaves your device.
That's the list. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no trackers. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which receives the standard web request (your IP address and user agent) when they load.
What we do with your email
We send one email when the beta opens. No newsletter, no marketing sequence, no sharing or selling to anyone. Beta signups are stored on infrastructure we operate.
Deletion
Write to hello@edtok.io from the address you signed up with and we'll delete it, normally within 7 days. You can also just ask what we hold about you — the answer will be one row.
Children and students
This marketing site is directed at educators and institutions and collects no student data. The EdTok product itself — which handles course and LMS data — will ship with its own privacy policy, data-processing terms, and FERPA documentation before any campus pilot begins.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. Material changes to how we handle beta emails will be announced to the addresses we hold.
Questions? hello@edtok.io — a person reads it.
